My name is Nicarla Ellis and I am the Executive Director of Affinity Mentorship Foundation. I hope you are here to learn more about Affinity Mentorship Foundation (AMF) and that this visit leads you to join our community. Affinity was formed in the Summer of 2014 with the desire to find a way of supporting youth through mentorship to transition from incarceration and to contributing members in our society. Our first match occurred in the Spring of 2018. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we expanded our target population to include all youth at-risk of justice involvement, while continuing to support those already involved.

AMF’s purpose is to connect participating youth with a supportive volunteer mentor. We believe that by engaging in healthy relationships, youth develop skills that empower them to make change in their lives and communities. We also have various programs to help youth develop goals and skills and dreams of what they can achieve.
